Bandung Carbon Farming
This project partners with a 42-hectare community-managed farm in Arjasari District, Bandung Regency, employing over 20 horticulture farmers and supporting the local economy.
However, 5 hectares of farmland have degraded due to prolonged chemical fertilizer use, reducing productivity and sustainability.
To combat this, the project will apply biochar fertilizer to restore soil health, increase crop yields, and promote regenerative farming practices.
Additionally, it will serve as an educational platform, where local farmers can learn how to cultivate using biochar fertilizer with the goal of reducing costs, removing carbon, improving soil quality, and ensuring long-term agricultural sustainability.
