Wood Probolinggo Project
Wood Probolinggo Project
A leading plywood producer in East Java generates 3,960 tons of wood chips and sheet waste per month from its factory in Probolinggo Regency. Currently, the waste is either used as fuel, left to decompose, or occasionally catches fire spontaneously. Through this initiative, the wood waste is pyrolized using our machines and converted into biochar. We then enrich the biochar with essential nutrients, making it ready to be sold as biochar fertilizer. Beyond agricultural use, the biochar fertilizer will also serve as a soil remediation agent for watershed rehabilitation and post-mining reclamation projects. This collaboration reduces waste management costs and mitigates fire hazards for the factory, as Neutura handles the entire waste processing. Farmers and reclamation contractors benefit from lower-cost biochar fertilizer compared to market alternatives. Additionally, this effort is scientifically proven to remove carbon, contributing to global climate change mitigation efforts and keeping the world on track toward reducing climate risks.
